Finishes

Our furniture is offered with three types of finishing techniques: standard stain, premium stain and weathered paint.
STANDARD STAINS
Stains are hand applied to a raw distressed wood surface, the surface is rubbed with an antique glaze and then it is hand waxed to achieve an aged finish that highlights the natural beauty within the wood.
PREMIUM STAINS (15% upcharge)
Stains are applied to a conditioned distressed wood surface, the surface is rubbed with a casein glaze, and an additional antique glaze is hand applied, it then is hand waxed to achieve the aged and worn “pickled” surface.
WEATHERED PAINTS (20% upcharge)
Layers of paint are hand applied over a conditioned and distressed wood surface, the paint is treated with a weathering agent and then heavily glazed to achieve a painted surface that has patina reflective of its age.
